The passion and dedication that The Gruttadauria’s put into their creations are unmatched by other bakeries and because of that I know this new generation of the bakery will flourish in California ! If you like some sweets, and are looking for a place with charm/a lot of history, this place is for you!
Having had many of the delicious pastries, cookies and cakes from their former NY location, I have no doubt the quality, as well as customer interaction and satisfaction, will be replicated in CA. I, will especially miss the cannolis, but wish the Gruttadauria family all the best.
The top bakery in the country! Authentic, delicious and traditional! So glad I can get these cookies shipped because I love them SO much! Not to mention the family running this business from generation to generation is so kind and inviting. I will forever be a fan of Gruttadauria’s 1914 Bakery!
I grew up with Gruttadauria’s Bakery in Rochester, NY the cakes, the pastries and my favorite cookies were always a treat when I traveled back home from the NYC area. Not to forget the home made lemon ice! Amazing bakery, I will be ordering pastries and the West Coast is very fortunate to enjoy the traditional Italian recipes and the new creations by Michael Gruttadauria.

Italian cookies and cannolis
they have soo many delicious cookies to try- it's hard to pick a favorite! They melt in your mouth!! The owners are super nice and very helpful on selecting cookies. I do think that the cookies dipped in chocolate are extra delightful because the chocolate is fluffy, rich and almost like frosting. I wouldn't go anywhere else!! A must for any party.
