Dr. Compton was very friendly and warm when being first introduced to her. She listened to my concerns about my hands and my situation with my other Hospital/doctors. She gave me options the other doctors did not offer which were better for me actually. I look forward to the surgery now feeling more comfortable and confident about what is going to take place in a manner that is good for me.
Dr. Compton was VERY personable, down-to-earth, and extremely knowledgeable when I came to her with an injured wrist. She immediately had a plan of action to get me healthy again, including a cortisone shot at my visit. I recommend her highly to anyone needing a hand specialist.
Personable and efficient-she’s all business right at the get go, which is fine with me. At same time, she’s engaged and has a sense of humor. Clear explanations. A bit hard to get an appointment quickly but that’s because they hold same-day appointments for urgent issues, and someone in my family recently took advantage of that quick access so I don’t really consider that a negative-I think if my situation was more urgent, they would’ve fit me in sooner. Waiting rooms require a -30 degree rated parka - Dr was over worked & did not have time to listen or perhaps did not care to listen to my concerns . She was admittedly running behind and my guess is they squeezed me into her schedule in an effort to get me seen ( which is nice. After reading physical therapy notes , “ no weight lifting - no tight gripping - it’s fairly clear that the Dr didn’t read notes on my occupation.
