JoAnn was referred to me by a business associate and she has been my tax advisor and preparer for the past 13 years. What a godsend JoAnn has been! I work in Public Safety and routinely come in contact with heartbreaking cases. We thought JoAnn was gonna be our tax professional; boy was I wrong. She straight up lied that she applied for an extension for us and kept promising that our return was easy, we were a “priority”, and to give her more time. She seems to know her stuff but don’t be fooled, she is horrible with communication and it’ll be a waste of time to work with her as a new client. We even referred her a new client and she did the same thing to them! Best to move along in your search for a tax person.

I had JoAnn for two years and it was a HIGHLY stressful experience, which is the last thing anyone needs during tax season. It was a nightmare because she simply vanishes not for weeks, but several months ignoring the courtesy of returning my outgoing correspondence ie: in emails and text messages.
