Dr Abernathy is a kind, caring, knowledgeable physician. Answers all questions, not in a rush, very good care.
I am so glad I found Dr. Abernethy. I had originally gone to another eye surgery center that was like being on a conveyor belt and where there was a lot of pressure to sign up for surgery that very day. A friend recommended Dr. Abernethy and it was like night and day. She takes her time with you, answers all your questions, and there is no pressure to have surgery. Dr. Abernethy did my cataract surgery. She did an excellent job of explaining the procedure beforehand, so I was prepared on the day of surgery. I feel great and can see the details I was missing before . She is a great surgeon and a wonderful doctor!
Dr. Abernethy is the consummate professional, obviously very knowledgeable, has a genuine caring attitude and is extremely patient. After my first visit I knew I had found the right physician to perform my cataract surgery and lens replacement. She did both my eyes in November '17 and now for the first time in 64 years I have 20/20 vision without glasses or contacts. The results are simply amazing. The entire staff is equally as professional and caring as Dr. Abernethy.
I HAVE USED DR. ABERNETHY FOR MANY YEARS AND SHE RECENTLY DID SURGERY ON BOTH MY EYES IN TWO SEPARATE OPERATIONS ON DIFFERENT DATES. SHE EXPLAINED THE PROCEDURE PROFESSIONALLY AND IT WORKED OUT AS STATED. SHE FOLLOWED UP AT DIFFERENT DATES TO SEE EVERYTHING WAS GOING AS PLANNED. i APPRECIATE HER TALENT AND CONCERN FOR MY WELFARE.
Dr. Abernethy is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable in her field. I have every confidence that my eye health is in good hands.
Dr. Abernethy is very caring and extremely detail oriented. She works quickly and prepares excellent records of her findings. Her surgery has definitely improved my vision with no pain or adverse reactions. She impressed my wife and me so much that when my wife needed help, she left her previous provider and saw Dr. Abernethy. We discovered the previous provider had issued an incorrect glass prescription. Dr. Abernethy's exam discovered two problems creating problems. Now treating both!
Dr. Abernethy and the staff at Nethery Eye Associates were more than comforting and helpful. The front desk was welcoming, the technician was caring and gentle, and Dr. Abernethy was kind and thorough. I was in great hands at Nethery Eye Associates and I am certain you will be too. I recommend Dr. Abernethy to anyone in need of expert advice and care.
