We ate there on Saturday evening. We were one of the first tables after the restaurant opened and had a party of 8 people. 5 of us have come down with food poisoning from the meal. That was the only meal that all 5 of us shared, so we are sure that it came from that meal. It was an expensive meal, and we've been sick now for says. We are definitely NEVER going back.
We love jotos!! Our favorite... We did a celebration for our 11 yr old son tonight who is celebrating a yr seizure free!! I did call ahead reservations earlier that day for 7:30, not to late as it was a school night. We didn't get seated until almost 8:30!! They sat 2 other tables before us who didn't do reservations.. It weren't busy & there were 4 empty, clean tables!(Our party was for 6) because we sat late & waited on our cook forever we were finishing up after 9(closing time) & felt rushed. Excellent service! The food was amazing and the drinks were definitely yummy! Our chef was very engaging and the food was plentiful...more than we could possibly finish! Our waiter checked on us frequently and we were never left waiting! All around 10 gold stars our new favorite neighborhood restaurant!!!
The food and environment is great! Although when I made the reservation I told them it was my sons birthday and they didn’t sing to him.
We have been celebrating our Wedding Anniversary there for years and last night we did it again. We like to sit in the back sushi room and you can still order your hibachi dinner. The excellent soup and salad preceded the meal and then the chef who cooked for us personally delivered our huge helpings of fried rice, zuchini, onions, mushrooms, filet/scallop/shrimp to us at our private table.
