You expressed understanding it’s very expensive and requires time off work to bring it back. Since the original issue was not resolved and is exactly the same as when I brought it in, and with a refusal to provide me a break down of what I paid for along with the details of what was done continuing to shift, I have no confidence in taking time off work and a ferry to bring it back. I brought my Hobart 4822 1 hp motor to JMY. I explained to them exactly what was happening to it including that I had pulled it apart, checked the centrifugal switch and replaced the caps. The problem is it would run for 1-2 minutes then the breaker would trip. I got my motor back and they charged me $400. They told me the motor had water inside and could not be started. I had them rebuild a windlass motor for my boat that had seized from years of salt exposure. They did a great job, in a short amount of time for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
