I leased from JJ Land Company for four years and had an overall positive experience. Their team was responsive whenever repairs were needed and I could aways talk to someone on the phone or in person. I also found the rent to be reasonable for Shadyside, and any rent increases over the years were fair and manageable. One thing I will complain about is they do not offer month-to-month after a year lease, so you will need to commit to renewing on a yearly basis. Highly recommend. Stayed at one of their apartments in Squirrel Hill for about a year and had no problems.
