I loved this place! My Grandmother and Grandfather McCrory lived across the street from the bakery. The best treat for spending the weekend at Grandma's was smelling the fresh bread baking early in the morning while we walked to Church and then buying fresh rolls for breakfast after Mass
In Queens they don't carry a variety of their products. But what they carry is just awesome! In the supermarket, JJ Cassone is anytime my first choice over the Speciality Gourmet Breads.. More bang for your buck. The JJ Cassone Portuguese Bread topped with homemade Guacamole is how I eat. The Hero Roll is awesome too. I wish they carry more products in Queens supermarkets...
This is the worst bakery ever.....evey1 there is a POS...tbey give out old bread nd never give ya way you want....theu always short people on orders.....they FUCKIN suck....and the salesman name is Greg...he is the biggest liar 2nd bullshitt artist there is....he only tells ya way u want 2 hear.....the whole family is scum
