I was strongly influenced by the urologists I met during my training, They were a universally nice group of people. I also saw the lack of female presence in the world of urology and thought this needed to be remedied. Women tend to feel more comfortable seeing women doctors, especially in this field. I am very proud to be fulfilling that need.

An bladder complaint brought me to see Dr. Kim, shortly after retiring as Head of Surgical Training, Bioskills Training and Microvascular Surgery Training, at a major hospital and clinic complex in California 6,800 employees. Dr. Kim was nothing short of curt, rude, and at one point 'made a face' at me. Can you imagine? After she whipped off her exam gloves, she turned from me, faced her female PA, spoke something I was unable to hear, then turned back to me, uttering, 'We're done.' They both turned, opened the door, and qui... read more
The office was able to fit me in quickly for an appt after being seen in the ER for a kidney stone. After reviewing my CT, Dr Kim said I wouldn’t be able to pass it. She added me to her OR schedule 3 days later so I could recover before going to Hawaii for spring break. Was able to enjoy our family vacation without pain or having to pass broken up stone fragments. So grateful for Dr Kim
I had anticipated a good appointment with her. I was hopeful. She quickly dashed any hopes I had for finding a fit for myself here. I had a truly negative appointment a year ago with a red headed male doctor here. She is not the doctor for you, if you want to be heard for Interstitial Cystitis, as a woman. Many in this field feel it is the same as OAB which it is not. She is in that school of thought. No bedside manner, completely closed off. Maybe they are corporate owned and are treated badly themselves. I’ve been to many ... read more

She was very friendly, talked to me and felt like she really cared. I would definitely recommend her.
Positive experience with Dr. Kim and office staff, who answered questions about options and left me confident about surgery. Only a short wait to schedule the procedure. Minor error with post-op date, but quickly corrected. Oregon Clinic location is convenient, with easy parking.
The appointment with Dr. Kim was one of the worst I have ever had. I was referred to her as I have had recurrent symptoms for an extended period. I am extremely disappointed and angry about the experience for the following reasons: she was dismissive, contrary, and generally portrayed a very I don’t care attitude; she expressed an exasperated, heavy sigh when exiting the room, as if she was annoyed or we were wasting her time; she refused to consider all of the symptoms and do testing to definitively rule out possible causes... read more
I highly recommend Dr. Kim. I went to her after going to another urologist who rushed me through my appointment, gave me few options, and didn't seem invested in my care. Going to Dr. Kim was like night and day. She was easy to talk to, listened to my concerns, explained options, switched a medication I wasn't tolerating well, and had me come back in one week for a voiding trial, which was successful. (The other doctor wasn't going to do the trial for 3 weeks, so I would have had to struggle with a very uncomfortable cathete... read more
She made me feel comfortable and explained options for treatment of my conditions. She is also well informed about the avainable medical treatments and warned me of a medication another doctor had given me which had negative warnings.
I met Dr. Kim for the first time a week ago. She was kind and interactive. Her assistant was also knowledgeable and kind. I had many questions, and my concerns were addressed.
