Wonderful food, wonderful staff
The new location has more seating and menu options. The catfish and hush puppies are the best anywhere. They have extended their hours. They now have a lunch and Sunday brunch menu.
The whole catfish were great (crunchy crispy yummy fish tails). The hush puppies and fried pickles were good.
I've been going to Jim's since its original location. The location next to the gas station was pretty inconvenient so I was ecstatic about the new location. I don't mind waiting for my food but unfortunately the quality has really taken a heat. My fish was extremely greasy and lacked flavor. My wife said her chicken tenders tasted like they were cooked in funnel batter 😂😂😂. I do recall the last time I had onion rings the batter tasted 🤷🏽♂️ just off. I also got a gallon of lemonade. I love Jimpa’s. They have the best tasting catfish and give generous portions for the money.
At my fave home cooked seafood spot picking up some DELICIOUS Calabash Shrimp & Fried clams! I LOVE these people & my food is ALWAYS DELISH!!!! I HIGHLY suggest if you're close by on Friday & Saturday nights to hop on over here! The people are doing their best to remind us just how special home cooked food is!!!! YUMMMY!!!!
