It was founded in 1974 and is still a family-run business, and the restaurant has a dining room and two catering halls, perfect for private functions. Crack open a freshly steamed crab and enjoy the special seasoning; the crab cakes are exemplary and for the brave, there is the colossal 1-pound 'The Boss' crab cake. There is also a fine range of fish dishes and steak. Call for reservations.

I never liked my experience(s) here. Initially, when I entered it was that long silent awkward stare I received from the patrons when you enter somewhere and are the only BLK person in a establishment. The customer service lacked and left a lot to be desired, the manager was very argumentative when I brought my issue to him and ultimately it was never resolved. RecommendedWe had a blast at the outdoor seating arrangement Tuesday. Trivia was so fun. Felt almost just like normal. Food and drinks are just as good!
I have been a customer for over 20 years. I love the food and atmosphere Jimmy’s offers. The staff and owners are wonderful. Mr. Jimmy would be very proud of where the business is now. I will always be a loyal customer. Plus I love how Jimmys gives back to the first responders.
Jimmy’s is a staple in Baltimore. Over the years, it has been amazing how they have built their brand nationwide! Shipping food to all 50 states?! Wild! Jimmy’s and family are synonymous. I had crabby fries and a crab cake sandwich. It was awesome. Crabby fries are life.
I have used jimmys seafood for carry out, dine in, meal prep, and now the outside dining experience. I will admit hands down it is the best restaurant, food and service in area. Anytime i want great food, drinks, service and music, i will always head to jimmys famous seafood!
My steak salad was huge and delicious!!! I'll definitely be ordering it again!!!!
Since the restaurant is closed, I scheduled the truck for our neighborhood - the food was great and the staff were very pleasant. Happy to support local businesses.
