It was founded in 1974 and is still a family-run business, and the restaurant has a dining room and two catering halls, perfect for private functions. Crack open a freshly steamed crab and enjoy the special seasoning; the crab cakes are exemplary and for the brave, there is the colossal 1-pound 'The Boss' crab cake. There is also a fine range of fish dishes and steak. Call for reservations.

Great brunch menu
I was excited to find another source of Lump Crab Cakes, but but when they were delivered I knew why I hadn’t heard of Jimmy’s in the past. I received 2 Junior Jumbo Lump and 2 8oz Colossal Jumbo Lump Crab cakes. Unfortunately there was no lump crab meat. Two had no lump crab meat and two had a total of 0.125 cubic inches of pieces of a lump. I had to search to find them. Customer service thought that was the way they should be. Quality of service , Had a problem with my meal , ask for manager for assistance and was told that there wasn’t a problem with the fish because it was inspected before leaving the kitchen. The fish was overcooked hard edges dry . I was told I would be charged twice if I asked to replace it . Ok So can we speak to someone else Please Thanks to the other Manager she solve the problem , very well . Cooked another fish that was cooked well I will not travel 1 1/2 for Jimmy’s Seafood again
Just left Jimmy’s seafood and it wasn’t the food that will make me not go back, it was the rude and sarcastic manager, Gurvir! I mention him by name because after his rude behavior, he gave me a card with his name to write a review and I’m doing just that. Excellent steamed crabs I took my in-laws out for crabs last week at Jimmy's Seafood. We were so pleasantly surprised at the size and flavor of these crabs. Being a local, I tend to order crabs every few weeks during the summer, and I can tell you that these were the best flavored, heaviest and most filling crabs all year. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE & LONG WAIT My wife & I often purchase Groupons to try new restaurants. When we arrived at Jimmys, we were seated right away. Then a young man brought us water (city tap water, unfiltered) & took our drink order. We then waited for 20-25 minutes, before I finally got up to check what the problem was. Bad Attitude The resteraunt looks alot better than it has in the past few years since Jimmy passed. The crabs, when you finally get the are great. The problem is the owner. I think his name is John. He walks around like he is beyound approach. He looks as if he is mad at the world. I have been going there for years. The wait staff is treated very poorly and disrespectful by the owners. Order #325485 Dear Tony Minadakis - I've been reserved to send this because I don't think it will bring results. My grandparents have a place in OC since 72. I grew up eating crabs all summer long. Maryland has the best crab when done right. The product I received from you is truly an embarrassment to me. Colossal lump, shame was 3 pieces of lump, filler, and claw meat. March 2021, I ordered close to $350.00 worth of food. I drove approximately an 1 1/2 hours for this order. We were trying to impress a friend from Vegas and heard this would be a good restaurant to try. When I got home I noticed I was missing about $90.00 worth of food. I immediately called and spoke with Val. She apologized confirmed that the food was still there and that I would be refunded.
