Worst company I have ever dealt with. They only take cash for someone to show up ($85) and give an estimate. Then if you agree with the estimate they require $175 deposit. Told the part was in and would be back in 2 days to repair. Never heard back so called multiple times and talked to scheduler who informed me he would call between 4-6 to confirm next day install time. Never called. Quite obvious this is a scam to get cash deposit with no intention of performing any work. These guys should be in jail.

Do not use this company. Their sole goal it would seem is to get new business and take deposits...cash/cheque only, so you have no recourse. They will look great a first. Very friendly, quick to respond. Then they will give you a diagnosis and charge a deposit. Then the waiting begins. They will eventually show up again, but your odds of having your appliance actually run again are 50/50. I have waited (2 months) I have called over 25 times, left messages, talked to reps. very professional and has a laser-like focus on diagnosing the problem and coming up with potential solutions. He came over and was able to quickly diagnose the problem with my dryer and gave me two solutions. Either replacing the solenoid or suggesting it was time to upgrade. I appreciate his honest suggestions, I will recommend him to any of my friends who need quick and honest help with their appliances. good work. Took his shoes off before he enters the house, he is very careful with the appliance he is repairing, he doesn’t rush the repair, he explains what he is doing, and he knows what he is doing. This man has many years of experience and he is well educated. I feel fortunate to have found Jimmy Z. My high-end stove had a burner that was seeping natural gas while it was off. I smelled gas coming from my old oven, I quickly opened all the windows in my apartment and called the first number that I found here on Yelp which was this company. They sent a tech out to repair my Maytag stove almost before I hung up the phone or so it seemed like. The tech said that somehow the flame on the oven pilot had gone out and gas was being released into my apartment, YIKES. This company is fradulant. They no show appointments and they constantly ask for a bit more money to complete the job. They have had our dishwasher for over a week and they still have not gotten it back in our home. They keep saying "we will be there tomorrow to install" and they no show the appointment. I stay home to assure I will be present during their two hour window and they consistently flake. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.

Highly frustrated! This company took advantage of my elderly parents. Only after coming on to the BBB site do I realize my parents were victims of a common practice performed by Jimmy Z Appliance Services. My parents refrigerator recently broke and they contacted Jimmy Z appliance to fix it. The repair man quoted the repair job as requiring a $400 deposit and that they would work on it the following day. My 75 year old father reluctantly paid the $400. This is the worst appliance service company that I know. The technicians are not knowledgeable and unprofessional. When I called to complaint, they do not respond. DO NOT HIRE them.
