Complete scammers. How the organization has not been shut down or the owners are not in jail is beyond me. There is clearly a pattern of behavior which was also repeated when they came out to 'fix' our dishwasher two weeks before Christmas, charging us $350 for a job which left the appliance in a worse state, then quoting us another $200 for a possible fix, and verbally abusing my husband and I for trying to get the refund we had been promised for the insufficient work. WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I had the drainage pump fail on my dishwasher and called Jimmy Z to come take a look. They said it should be an easy fix but the parts were expensive. After taking a $540 deposit, they told me the parts were on factory back order. 4 months later with no communication whatsoever we discovered that the factory doesn't actually make this part any more because the model has been discontinued. Jimmy Z Appliance does not perform work in good faith. As previous reviewers have stated, “Jimmy Z Appliance is a scam.” 1st Service. Easy to schedule first service on refrigerator. Tech serviced. Refrigerator still not working. 2nd Service. Very difficult to reach the service department. Unresponsive to phone calls and email. Jimmy Z Appliance is a scam. They are very attentive in beginning with phone calls to set up an estimate then as soon as they get your deposit they become very distant and have blown off multiple days that have been set up to return to fix the problem. Using excuses as employees were sick, didn't get the part in, didn't get my phone message, the truck carrying the part was involved in an accident. Called this business - Jimmy Z - to come perform inspection and repair of microwave. Technician said he diagnosed the problem. Returned with parts to fix it, but for reasons unknown to him, it wasn't fixed. He said he would find out answer to problem and get back to us. He never has, we have had to call 2 times to get a response, which is, he is still trying to figure it out. Took $190 deposit...wanted it in check so he could cash it immediately. Still no fix for microwave and will try to get some money back.

From the time the Jimmy Z technician looked at my refrigerator door on 12/13, to the time I tried to get their technician to return and repair the door, which he messed up, they canceled the appointment twice and finally called to make an appointment for Saturday 1/27 (when no one would be there). So we declined service appointment and called another repair service who showed up promptly & repaired what Jimmy Z tech damaged.

In Nov 2017 JimmyZ came out to fix our fridge (too warm). Next day they returned with the part and I paid them $367. Two weeks later, the fridge is getting warm again, so was not fixed. I called them to come back out and they never returned my call. Took the money and ran.

This so-called Company is a fake. They refuse to take anything other then a personal check or cash...no credit cards. They assure you that they will be back within a day or two to handle your repair and promptly run to the bank and cash the check. No repair was ever made, even though a payment for the required parts is mandated at the time of diagnosis.
