I haven’t been inside a JJ in my life until tonight. Not disappointed! Philicia was the joy of my meal for sure. She made suggestions, made my husband and I comfortable and I got to watch her make our dinner with finesse. The sandwiches are GREAT, and I absolutely loved the pickle!!! Also, she’s not wrong about the awesome potato salad! Even with the food being exactly what we needed and enjoyed, it was Philicia that made the experience worth it.
The service from the door was poor, the African American that was making the sandwiches was very rude towards me and my grandchildren. As I was reaching for my method of payment, while he was making the sandwiches. He said miss you can make your payment. I'm a senior and I don't move as quickly as this rude younger generation. My family and I walked in today, Thomas (tall guy with glasses) doesn’t greet he says “we don’t have any French bread” I say ok hello, hi, hey! He walks away goes back to making bread. Turns around a minute late and says are yall ready to order? We start ordering her barks “I can’t make that because we don’t have that bread” didn’t even allow us to say hey use the bread you have it’s fine.
