I haven’t lived near a Jimmy John’s in a while and as a former GM, it’s still a favorite of mine so I was excited to live near one again. The employees are all always super sweet, however, they can’t seem to get my sandwich correct. First time I got a #1 Pepe and got home to discover a #4 Turkey tom. This second time I got a beach club and there’s no cucumbers on it. That comes with cucumbers by default so them missing that ingredient shouldn’t happen.
It has been sometime since I visited Jimmy John's. Today I ordered a Hunters Club. First off I was surprised at the $15 price tag, but what made it worse the sandwich had one thin layer of turkey and one thin layer of roast beef. Biting into the sandwich I could not even taste the meat. There was not enough there to taste! It was terrible, especially for $15. The quality of Jimmy John's has gone down. I can no longer call it my favorite sandwich shop.
The food is always pretty good. But on this day only one person was doing all the work. There were two employees and the guy that was "taking" orders looked at me and my guest as if we had somehow insulted him by placing an order. The dude had serious attitude problems. This was on a Saturday, July 11th at around 1-2 in the afternoon. The girl was working hard and did a great job. No name tags or I would have used it. Just disappointing to have such rudeness for no reason.
I've been informed that due to ownership changes, the hard-working, friendly staff at this location can no longer receive tips, which I find unconscionable. Owners, do better, please.
