This is a very strange place. The owner assured me they would be able to fix a part to an antique door and told me to call if I didn’t hear from them by a certain date. I didn’t hear from them on that day, so I gave them a call. The person who answered the phone was rude and sarcastic and scolded me for calling them to check on my job. When I call the store the person who answers is rude and sarcastic and seems to be suffering based on how unpleasant they are. Dropped or a lock part for a routine repair. They kept the part for months and were unable to fix it. When I’ve gone to pick it up, they are never there during regular business hours. A sign was on the door so I called the number and the guy was so rude and hung up on me. Horrible place. Very bad attitude never will return here again.

Have never been treated so rude by a business. After 3 trips to their store and a visit from locksmith still no working keys and told he didn’t need my business. Wow. Not sure how they stay in business.

Employees friendly, Terrible owner. Very Rude, disrespectful and MEAN. Refused to admit his service guy might have made a mistake. I have 3 witnesses confirming what he was told to do. The job was not done correctly. Now owner refuses to come fix it expediently. Will put me on the schedule - several weeks out. This is a medical office, can't wait several weeks.

it is a staple here in Peoria,IL and has been since 1930 when it was first opened up and has been since, they offer quality service throughout the year made many friends and true dedicated customers over the years.

😁 Jimmie to my rescue!! Of course it had to be a cold snowy day! 🥶 Response time was very quick and Jimmie made sure I was inside and warm. He had my unlocked in a jiffy and I was back in the road. 🚗😁 THANK YOU!!!

I have used Jimmies Lock Shop several times for extra keys for vehicles to lost keys for motorcycles. Just had them program an extra key fob. In and out in a short time and almost half price compared to others. I would highly recommend Jimmies.

Prompt courteous service. They have made me keys for two different motorcycles that had been lost. No problem for them and they had them finished when they promised. This week they ordered a new key fob for my truck. Made an appointment and within 10 minutes I was on my way. Almost half price that others charge. I'm very happy with the service at Jimmies Lock Shop.
