Worst Ever – This place is reprehensible. The cheese is American, the menu is entirely overpriced, and the most enjoyable part of it was the atmosphere. Even that lacked sincerity. One thing that would help is if this American-based business would hire people that speak English. Another thing that could really boost their reputation would be to charge a reasonable amount for a taco. Come on, fast food should not be as expensive as eating at a normal restaurant.
Not worth it – This trip is not worth it. You might as well pay half the price for the same value at some other fast food joint. Shoot you could even go for a $6.99 pizza buffet over at the Round Table on Howe. Service at every Jimboy's I've been to is absolutely horrible, they never get my order right, the steak is NOT worth the price ($2.79 for one taco), and no one ever speaks any dang English. This is American people, learn the language!
I dine at Jimboy's on Fulton Ave – Wow, look at all the reviews! I eat at the one on Fulton Ave. It's been there for years. As far as the News & Review thing, isn't the right of the restaurant what publications they provide? If you don't get the Sunday Taco Special, I think the food is priced a little high. However, it's some good greasy food! Read my full review, just Google: Sacramento Blog Uncut
bigoted homophobes – I currently have a boycott petition signed by 487 people in my immediate neighborhood. Jimboy's decision to stop offering the FREE sacramento news and review paper simply because awhile back it featured an article about gay people getting married is reprehensible, and unforgiveable. they can shove their nasty tacos up where the sun doesn't shine. Try coming into the 21'st century you bigots!! the boycott will also include 24 hour fitness for following suit. you see gay people can affect your business as ... read more
Good Mexican Food – I will drive my electric cart down there in cold weather to get some of their potato wedges with spicy cheese sauce. YUM!!! The rest of their offerings are well-prepared and generally very tasty. Pricing is variable, but generally reasonable. Service is typically polite and often personable. A good place to get food for a group. Metalsmith
JIMBOYS IS THA BOMB – I don't know why some ppl gave negative thoughts HATERS Jimboys is the best eventhough its not authentic it serves the purpose, I wish there was a Jimboys in southern cali that would be great, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
need to learn english – I was not happy with the service i resived there the person that worked the conter could not speack english hardly at all they got my order wrong 3 times. The food was good once they got the order right.
Jim Boy Taco's, Roseville California – Jim boy Taco's at the Roseville auction in California are ones not to miss. I live in Dallas Texas and make it a point to stop by there any time I visit Sacramento. They are the best !!! I too order extra taco's for a later meal. If theres a line to the window to order it is well worth the wait.
A huge grease slick - don't do it – On my first (and only) visit, I ordered two items - and when I received them, there was a HUGE grease slick underneath them. I have never in my life received food that greasy that there was a massive oil slick underneath. I was appalled, and barely ate 1/8 of it before I was so overwhelmed by oozing grease that I had to toss the rest.
