I went to him for the first time today as he is taking over being my doctor and I do have to say I felt very comfortable there with him and his nurses. He listened to everything I had to say and is helping me in every way he can. I will now be on the right track thanks to him! Plus the nurse truly knew how to calm me down while I was very scared. She was amazing!! You all are wonderful there!
I am 72 years old, so needless to say I have been to many Doctors. Of all I have ever had, Jim Hong stands alone. He is very compassionate . He cares for each and every patient he has. His staff is very friendly . When I first came to Dr Hong I was in extreme pain. Nothing will help is how I felt. But Dr Hong sent me for all sorts of test, than prescribed the medication, and my pain level has dropped from a constant 7 or 8 to a much tolerable 2 or 3 . I am active again. To the point and thorough. I did not care for his waiting room, not very comforting for someone like me who is anxious about seeing a new doctor. But I felt I could trust his care to be the best care for me. I read through the other reviews and trust what is being said. I would do something about the waiting room, it should be warm and inviting like someone’s living room. Get something else on the walls. Two dated prints in dated frames doesn’t cut it. Glad you offer excellent care.
I’ve never had a doctor that doesn’t spend most of the appointment making small talk and banter just to spend 5 mins on my medical concerns and most of time either dismiss my concerns or be very condescending. I FINALLY left my previous doctor when I went to him over concerns about my weight and his response was “some people were meant to be big.” That was the LAST straw.
