When I purchased my vehicle I also purchased all of the extended warranties that come with it. The first year and a half I fought with them everytime I went in there about my oil changes. I had free oil changes and they kept telling me the sales rep should not of sold me that because it's not covered. So they gave me coupons to make me happy. I am appalled at the audacity of Jim Butler Chevrolet. I contacted them to see about getting a car, explained that my credit isn't the greatest and told them my exact situation, only to be told multiple times that it wasn't a problem and that they could absolutely help me get into a good car. I purchased a ******************* January after a two weeks driving the vehicle the engine light came on and the car start pulling. I took the car back the first time which the change a sensor on the vehicle, after having it for a couple of days the engine light came back on and the car was not drivable yet again. We purchased a 2016 GMC Certified Acadia from Jim Butler in Fenton. We owned the car for about 52 weeks. Out of the 52 weeks we owned the car, it spent 10 - 11 weeks total in the service department. Headlights filled with water 2 days after we purchased it. The service advisor said the headlights were missing some screws. A year later and several times bringing this to Jim Butler's attention, the headlights still filled with water and Jim Butler refused to fix it properly. Jim Butler could improve by addressing you when entering the service garage with something like “someone will be with you in just a moment”, instead of having you stand awkwardly in silence next to your vehicle for 5-10 minutes before saying a word to you. They could improve by scheduling your vehicle in on the day that a service technician can actually look at and service it. I bought a new 2020 blazer last January. November of this year they inform me I need new tires. All 4 are in bad shape. Was approached with an $1100 quote. I tried calling and leaving messages for the service department/ manager to get dome clarity on 1 why are the tires bad and 2 why are they not under warranty(even prorated).
