We had a house fire back in 2008. I hired Jim Black for the rebuild of the house. What a fantastic job. I also hired them for hail damage a few years later and also for water damage to a rental property. I would not keep going back to them if I was not completely satisfied with them. I also have recommended them to a work colleague who just recently had a complete loss due to a house fire. wow..we must be working with 2 different companies. my garage burned down and did in most of the house with smoke and water damage. everything but the frame of the house was gone. today i have a new house built to 2013 standards. yes they missed completion by a little and there were minor issued after we moved back in. they were taken care of! happy camper as they say!
HORRIBLE!!!!Run for your life and hold on to your wallet!!! This company lies, cheats, NEVER shows up when they are supposed to and then shows up when they are not supposed to be there. HORRIFIC work, bait and switch, one of the all-time worst companies ever! I wish I could give it negative 5 stars!
This man claims to be so honest. Tells how he will take care of everything. He plays on your anquish immediately after you house burns down. Then he takes advantage of you every step of the way. He doesn't follow the insurance claim. He puts in seconds for cabinets, cardboard for moulding, the plumbing won't work, you will have sewage in your basement, your breakers will trip, etc. Your house will never have the quality it had. The finish work is disgusting. This man is a crook. DO NOT use him.
I just wanted to take a few minutes to come on and say how pleased I was with Jim Black Construction. When my basement flooded last month due to bad pipes in a rental property of mine, I called Jim Black Construction. They came right out that day and within a few weeks, my insurance company and Jim Black worked together to restore my property with really little to no hassle on my end. I would not hesitate to use Jim Black again for any restoration needs I might have! Thanks
