Their food is delicious but man the service is so so slow. This is the fourth time I have had to wait over 30 minutes for my food and then on top of that wait forever for the check. I am not an impatient person, either. This is just not typical for a restaurant of this caliber. Not impressed and too frustrated to come back.
First place I've had fried green tomatoes and I'm in love... and those cheddar biscuits... help me.
Some of the worst service I've ever had and the restaurant was not even half full. Not once was I asked how food was until I had been done for 10 minutes. Not one refill on my drink by my server! Had to ask another lady despite mine walking by countless times. She was clearly more interested in bigger parties. I have had very poor service 2 times in a row now after years of great service. Food was good but I doubt I'll return again and just get my BBQ fix elsewhere.
Only leaving this because I emailed Jim 'N Nicks and they never responded. I loved this restaurant until our waiter, Cameron, attempted to short us because we paid with cash. He then lied about it. Completely unacceptable behavior, and even worse because they have condoned this by ignoring my message. Don't pay cash! And WATCH OUT if Cameron is your waiter.
