Best Brows Ever!!! – I had my brows done by Moira and what a transformation!!! They were perfect! I actually had a shape. For the first time in my life people complimented me on my great eyebrows. It is obvious that she is a perfectionist in this area. It is neccesary to grow them out for a couple of weeks first but it was soooo worth it!
Airbrush tanning!!! – It's amazing what they can come up with!! NO more SUN!! Jeani- the owner of Faux Glow has joined my favorite spa. If you've never tried airbrush tanning... YOU HAVE TO! You guys ROCK!
Go to Glow! – It is so hard to find an excellent aesthetician that is superior in their work. Jillian made skin look radiant. I didn't know I had it in me. She took her time, explained everything to me so I could understand "why me skin wasn't functioning properly". She has made me a loyal client. I highly recommend her. Plus everyone at Glow is so friendly. They make you feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment you walk in the door.
Glowing attorney – My husband and I absolutely loved our facials at Glow. I had an Oxygen facial that left my skin feeling dewy and soft. My hubby said it glowed! Ha!! Samantha said I should try a microdermabrasion at the end of the summer, especially after my vacation spending time outdoors. (Yes - I'll wear my sunscreen religiously, Sam!!) I will certainly recommend to all my friends visiting NY to make a trip to Glow a must!
Best Extraction – Jillian gave me the best extraction of my life :) Also, she recommended a significantly cheaper package than the one I originally booked based on my skin's immediate needs.
Misunderstood Appointment – When I called I specified wax without strips. When I arrived the one person there had not received these instructions and said I would need to wait at least 1/2 hour to prepare the correct wax. Although she apologized the place was very unprofessional.
Waxing Debacle – Glow spa has nice decor, a friendly staff, and is in a great location.... But when booking an appointment, be sure that your aesthetician is experienced. I recently had a horrible wax.... Although my aesthetician was friendly, I'm not convinced she knew how to give a brazilian. First off, she made me completely remove my underwear and then she was very painful to have 'rips'. In addition, the wax was scalding hot and they didn't know how to apply it in small sections to make the removal process less painful.... read more
Miracle workers!! – It was 3 days before a major event, and I had multiple prominent blemishes on my face. Jillian did a stress reduction facial and zapped the blemishes with a special instrument, and by the time of my event, they were GONE! Even the next day they were amazingly diminshed - I couldn't believe it! The facial itself was wonderful - the best I've had in the City. Jillian uses great products and explains what she is doing, and my skin felt like silk afterwards. She's made me a devoted client for life!
The Best – I have been getting regular facials from Jillian for over 2 years. I have NEVER had a regular anything- I cut my hair twice a year, wait till my pedicures "grow out", etc. But once I got a facial at Glow I was hooked. The girls are amazing, perfectionist, beautiful and friendly women and I look forward to my appointment each time!
