Dr McCarty is very compitent. She is sorely let down by her front desk. When I called today with blurred sight in my right eye, I was told her first availability was 2 weeks. Since I went to bed with normal vision this was worrisome. The receptionist said: “oh, you had the same thing before”. How the hell does a non medical person know THIS is the same thing-over the phone? I’m at the hospital now being examined. Thanks very little!
This doctor has the skill, intelligence, and sensitivity to professionally handle any problem in her purview. I first saw her to biopsy/remove a growth in the corner of my eye. It goes without saying (note the five stars) she did a remarkable job. Since that time she's performed two successful cataract surgeries on me. Dr. McCarty's staff is well organized and friendly; her office is clean and comfortable. I recommend her fully and completely.
I would definitely recommend Dr. McCarty for any/all eye surgery. Wonderful way of putting patient at ease and explaining any and all steps of exam and treatment.

My new eyes are "eye" mazing. I had cataract surgery on both eyes with Toric Lens implant. Wish I had done it sooner.
Dr. McCarty was my deceased mother-in-law's opthalmologist and provided outstanding care for her. She has done cataract surgery on a number of my friends all of whom recommend her highly. She recently did my cataract surgeries -- both left and right eye -- and did a terrific job. I could not recommend her more highly!
I had cataract surgery with Toric Lens implants done by Dr. McCarty. I was highly satisfied by my entire experience. Her office is organized, and efficiently run. Her staff are friendly and caring. My surgery outcome makes me smile! My vision is just what I had hoped it would be!! Dr. McCarty will be my choice for eye care in the future.
