My step-mom is a patient of Dr. Morrison. She is an amazing oncologist, and has great bed side manner. Her two girls Alexis and Lissette are so sweet and go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. They have made this tough time in our lives much more bearable. What an amazing team!
My mother complained for over a year about her bones hurting. Dr Morrison told her she will be fine and it's probably temporary. No bone scan or any follow up at all regarding her bone pain. After complaining about it for over a year, my mother fell and broker her femur bone. At the hospital the doctors were amazed how far the cancer has progressed in her BONES. If Dr Morrison had done her job my mother would of gotten a scan and we would of caught the cancer sooner. Also on two separate occasions she had mistaken my mother ... read more
I was seen by Dr. Morrison promptly, and my bloodwork was processed expeditiously. Dr. Morrison listened carefully to my complaints, and clearly explained my diagnosis and the next steps in my treatment plan. Overall, my experience with Dr. Morrison was 100% positive.
Too many times I was treated by her PA Sara. I don’t trust her knowledge as she actually sent me for a chemo treatment that should have been skipped due to my heart test. Luckily, the nurses down in the infusion center noticed and canceled my chemo. If Sara had known what she was doing, she should have known enough to cancel it. I also don’t exactly appreciate Dr. Morrison’s smirky type bedside manner. Her friendliness seems a little phony.
Pushy, over bearing and somewhat aggressive. Other issues as well. Doesn't listen. Just not the Doctor I wanted to take care of me during a critical medical issue. After a few visits I fired her and switched to a different Doctor. I wouldn't recommend her.
A cancer diagnosis requires an invested and knowledgeable doctor who will do everything to help secure a positive outcome. Morrison was lax with my care and didn't put me on vitally important medication. It took a new oncologist at Columbia to get me on the right course (and the right drugs). Save yourself a trip to Morrison's office, and maybe save your life, too.
Her work is truly disappointing. I would be ashamed to work for her. She doesn't engage with her patients and sends them to her PA Sarah who has to Google the answers to your questions. The blunt and dismissive tone she uses with her patients is shocking. I would never recommend anyone to her.
Dr. Morrison's knowledge about the field she treats in (Onocology) is excellent. Lacks in some understanding of situations concerning the medical problem. Lack of seeing the patient herself during treatment. Needed to always ask other doctors in the group for advice and medications to be filled which caused alot of stress.. but good medically with her field..
