RecommendedToday I was getting ready to fill up my tires at the gas station next door and I thought I heard someone yelling ma’am. Trying to get my attention. Eventually I saw a young man from the Jiffy Lube waving me over to let me know he would fill my tires for free. I drove over and Derren diligently checked the inside of my door for the tire pressure capacities and topped off all four of my tires. He was courteous and polite. I think it is the worst place in the world to take your car. They ripped off my husband big time. I called to speak to the manager they could have cared less. I sent feedback to corporate, posted a review on YELP and will tell everyone I know NEVER NEVER to go to Jiffy Lube on Manchaca in Austin, TX.
don't take your eyes off your car – My car was vandalized and items stolen while they changed the oil. One employee even admitted that it "probably" happened. Management was non responsive and when I finally (months later) heard from them they denied it because I didn't actually see it happen and couldn't prove it. So - if you use them - DON'T TAKE YOUR EYES OFF YOUR CAR!
They pour the oil down the drain!!! – See the article in the 4/9/09 Statesman entitled "Jiffy Lubes owner admits putting oil down the drain " I'll never use a Jiffy Lube again!

Worst bunch of liars, cheats, and racketeers I've ever dealt with. – I have been working on cars since I was 12 years old. I have paid for an oil change once in my life. It was at the Jiffy Lube on South Lamar and the price was unbelievably inflated. The next time I went to change my oil in my garage, I spent 4 hours trying to get the drain plug off of the damn pan.
