After work, I ran into Jiffy Lube to get an oil change. I recently went there for my last one and I was thrilled with their service. However, this experience was a lot different this time. I pulled my truck up to the service attendant and I asked for a basic promo oil change and gave the guy my mileage on the vehicle. Avoid this place like the plague!!! – These people are big on the up-sell but when you ask exactly why the product/part they are hawking would benefit your automobile, they have no answer other than something generic like "runs more efficiently". Give me a break. They're supposed to be cheap, and they are if you don't buy into their pressure to upgrade (I'm great at saying no, get out of my face, honestly). Damaged car and did not tell me – They stripped the oil drain plug on my Accord and tried to cover it up by sealing temporarily with gasket sealant so I would not find out until months down the road. This is not a cheap fix. I guess I'll have to do it myself from now on.
