I have been using this particular Jiffy Lube for a couple of years. The service has been excellent. They keek a record of all services recommended from my car's manufacturer as I visit. I always inspect any recommendations and never felt like it was a "Hard sell." I have had several occasions to top off or check tire pressure and they are always very helpful, and without extra cost.
HUGE RIP-OFF!!!! – Don't even think about going here, or probably any Jiffy Lube if they all do business this way. My wife stops in for an oil change, and they convince her to do all sorts of unnecessary work to her 1 year old car. They got her for $141.40, and they really got me really mad. I know what I'm doing with cars, and we had just changed some of the filters they sold her only 4,000 miles before. I've never been furious at a business before this. This review is my only recourse, and I hope it saves someone else!!!!
As a Austin fire fighter you get use to a certain level of respect when your out in the public. This Jiffy Lube from its manager on down should all be fired and never allowed to work in any job field that requires them to deal with customers. Recently I brought my vehicle in for routine inspection and was really treated like I was bothering the employees, most notably the manager.
