Dr. Xu has been amazing. I have lived with Type 2 for a number of years but she is the first doctor that has explained all aspects in a manner that I can truly understand. She has not just given me meds and sent me on my way but rather taken the time to explain what is happening with my health and how I can address it. She treats me as a patient and respects me as a person. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
I have found Dr. Xu to be extremely helpful. Having type 1 diabetes for 53 years, I have benefitted greatly from her knowledge, personality, and care. She monitored my progress during my stay at John Muir Hospital, and her guidance in helping me choose the best cgm is greatly appreciated.
I'm baffled by the positive reviews this doctor has received. During one of my appointments, when I asked a question, she simply told me to Google it. Furthermore, her communication skills are severely lacking; even with my own accent as an immigrant, I struggled to understand her. After two appointments, I felt I could manage my thyroid condition better by reading a book myself.
