I was referred to Dr. Jianmin Tian after having tried two other gastroenterologists. I couldn’t believe the difference between him and the two former doctors. He made me feel comfortable and at ease, and he was very patient with all the questions that I had. He also explained a number of things that I would not have thought to ask. I did not feel rushed at all during my appointment, he appeared to have as much time available as I needed. Dr. Tian has been my Dr. for over 4 years treating me for UC. His knowledge and care is exceptional. He is caring and educates his patients with the BEST and most current medical data available.His approach is compassionate,respectful,and down to Earth.I tried several therapies to control my UC and finally HUMIRA worked. If I could leave absolutely no stars I would. This is BY FAR- The worst Dr. I have EVER had in my entire life. I think I might have had 1 office visit in 2 years. I spent every two weeks in the emergency room. He COMPLETELY misdiagnosed the problem. Put me on a MAX dose of steroids, painkillers, and some "new infusion" that he heard has great results- Rather than fixing the issue. The least compassionate Doctor I have ever even heard of. I had an allergic reaction to the prep meds on a Sunday. We called the 24 hr emergency line, and a Dr returned our call right away. We tried another med but had another reaction. Dr Tian had me try different meds the next day which worked great!!! Dr Tian did the colonoscopy on Tuesday - a quick and easy procedure!! Dr Tian made sure my wife and I understood the procedure and options to be done if necessary. The facility’s staff was great.
