VCS is probably the most efficient medical office I've ever dealt with. I've never experienced any wait time and I'm usually done with my visit before my scheduled appointment time. With that being said I don't feel that I'm being push through. Dr. Maran does answer all my questions.
He doesn't seem to care. He doesn't listen. he doesn't like to answer questions. He doesn't explain anything.

Dr Maran and his staff are so kind and knowledgeable. They really care about you and want to help get you through a difficult time. This is my 2nd time with cancer and I knew exactly who would take me through this journey again. Anytime I call or go into the office they are there to inform and help me and my husband answer any questions and concerns and get me the help I need. I can't thank Virginia Cancer specialist in Gainesville enough for everyone's compassion, knowledge and the great care they have given me!
Dr Maran understood my need for information. During our visit he carefully dissected my symptoms and concerns, explained additional treatment options and kept his promise to follow up with test results. Dr. Maran is an outstanding oncologist who combines medical knowledge with compassion. He believes in educating his patients of the different options available and their consequences. He is always smiling with a sense of humor. I am grateful that he follows me annually.
