It’s always a joy to see Dr. Maran who I’ve been seeing for 5 years. He reviews my file before the exam and always acts as though he just saw me the day before….even when it’s a year between visits! He listens, gives clear, concise answers to questions, reviews medication and tests and always smiles. I would definitely recommend him to others.
Dr. Maran is the best at explaining what’s happening with me and what treatment plan he believes will help me. He was the best part of getting cancer. If I had to get cancer, I’m glad I have Dr. Maran and the whole team at VA Cancer Specialists helping me.

Check-in was fairly fast and easy. The lab staff was great. Dr. Maran went over the lab results with me and explained how my cancer was progressing and what the next steps would be. He answered all my questions that I prepared in advance.
Dr Maran thoroughly prepares for our meetings, is aware of findings and status of care with a solid plan on the next step in my care.
Dr. Maran makes you feel as if you are his only patient. He takes the time to explain everything and makes sure that there are no problems or questions.
Everyone makes you feel special, including Dr. Maran! I highly recommend him and the staff!
