We stayed at the Hale Koa in May 2024. It is a wonderful place and one benefit is the stores on the property. There is a military commissary with great prices on everything. The independently owned Jewels at Hale Koa is on the property as well. Because we have always found good prices at the hotel and commissary, we assumed we would be getting a reasonable price at the jewelry store as well. So very grateful for this lovely jewelry shop! While staying at Hale Koa for a week, we passed this store many many times. After breakfast one morning, we stopped in and I found the most beautiful pendant that I desperately wanted, but refused to let my husband buy it for me-Hawaii is expensive and we’d spent so much already. We left the store and I was ok with not having it. Rose who worked there was so kind and helpful in helping me decide on my favorite pieces of Hawaiian jewelry. They had many lovely items and very well priced.
