This Jewel is awful! I live around the corner and can’t tell you the amount of times I have walked in and out without purchasing anything because there were not enough employees working the cash registers. Terrible, terrible, terrible experience.
This Jewel is definitely better than the one at 550 N State in terms of cooked food selection. an the employees at this Jewel where you can buy fried chicken from don't have attitude problems like the employees at 550 N State have in their fried chicken department.

I was highly disappointed in jewel osco. On a Tuesday night especially. There were not enough cashiers plus! To inquire about anything no one was around. It was insanely packed, I found myself wanting to just leave my cart in the middle of the isle and walk out.
Kerry in frozen foods was very nice and searched in the back for my favorite Halo Top ice cream flavor. Thank you. Got my treat for the weekend!
