Jewel is the only grocery store in Schaumburg (I don't count Trader Joe's or Whole Foods) so I'm forced to go there and the lines are always ridiculous. It doesn't matter what time you go, lines are 3 people deep, including the 15 items and under. It generally takes me longer to check out than it does to actually shop, which is ridiculous. Today, I was in line for 10 mins before I even started getting rung up. And I picked the line with a cashier over 21 as I had wine and one I knew was quick.
