One of the worst Deli departments that I have ever had to deal with. There's never enough staff on and when they do help, most are rude. I'm glad Mariano's moved into the neighborhood and now we have an option.
The produce goes bad rather quickly, I've had cheese that I found to have mold upon opening the bag, and there are never enough lanes open. The express lane can take over 20 minutes to go through due to inept business processes and workflows.
I know this is random but on more than one occasion I've had the cashiers here take a lot of interest in what I'm buying. I've had them sniff candles, read ingredients and make comments about items I'm purchasing. A week ago a cashier opened a bottle of air freshener I was buying and sprayed it and said "this should be nice for the bathroom" and yesterday a different cashier told me he hoped the eggs I was buying didn't give me mad cow disease. I thought I was being punkd...
I will no longer shop here now that they removed the self checkout lines.
