Barb is awesome she makes the best burgers! She went out of her way to make me Bacon Cheddar burgers! Thanks Barb!
This is the second time in two months getting chicken tenders or nuggets from the Fox Lake Jewel that are awful. They are not crispy they are hard as rocks, they are not tender they are stringy and chewy. It seems like more attention is paid to the food bar then to the fried chicken at the deli. Never again, looks a like another grocery store gone bad.
So again this month I brought in a prescription to fill stat. They said that they were busy and it would take 60 minutes. The next day 28 hours later they still had not filled the prescription. I asked why and she said “WELL WE JUST DIDNT DO IT” Are you kidding me? How bad can a pharmacy get? I think we are finding out.
This morning I arrived at the Fox Lake Jewel to pick up a cupcake-cake that I had ordered online for my father's birthday (Order Number: 147435). I was told by the bakery department that my order had been lost and my cake was not available for pickup. While I was upset that my order had been lost, the only saving grace was Belinda who works in the bakery. She was more than accommodating and offered to help find a replacement cake. I've been shopping at this Jewel for years and the people have been getting more and more rude. Today I was looking at the cooked chicken at Chefs kitchen trying to decide if I wanted to get any or not because it all looked cold and old. The woman asks if I have a number and I said no I'm looking at the moment. She then sighs, rolls her eyes and says "well if you ever get around to deciding just let me know". Why did you get rid of self check out? You have 3 express lanes, and ONE cashier open at them instead? I had the slowest check out ever. I miss self check out.
