The worst jewel ever. Wouldn’t sell us alcohol because someone had a vertical ID that we’ve used at plenty of other places before including other jewel oscos. Don’t come here.
Bought a bakery cake. I read the label as Yellow Cake. When I got home I realized on the other side there was another label that said marble/strawberry. I cut cake and it was chocolate (We dont eat chocolate cake). There were a few sour soggy strawberries between the layers and the thinnest layer of frosting, which was not portioned for a 13in cake. I love Mundelein Jewel Bakery, but I will never get another cake from the fox lake location. Awful.
Got a 10 pack of the cupcakes and the package they came in is worthless. Did not hold them in place let alone upright, so I get them home and open it to find a huge mess! What a waste
