Chicken Tikka Masala from Heaven – We had take out 3 nights in a row from this restaurant because it was so good. The Chicken Tikka Masala was divine, so much so that we had it twice, with samosas and naan bread. On the third night we shared a Rogan Josh with samosas and naan. Enough food in one entree for 2 to share with the appetizer and naan. Best samosas we've had in a long time (and we live near little India in Chicago) chock filled with veggies in a very light pastry. The staff very polite and friendly. Great value. Hi... read more
Come for tasty, authentic Indian food in a simple setting. – In Short The decor consists of a few exotic-looking wall hangings and chandeliers. The delicately spiced tikka masala, rich and studded with tender chunks of chicken, is easily wrapped in rounds of fluffy naan bread or tandoori roti. The popular ras malai dessert features cheese dumplings in milk and rosewater... read more
Very bad food – We went only once and we did not line the food at all. We have been to several Indian places in Twin Cities but this is really bad. No qualms about servie or ambience. The food is really bad value.

I think they should make the dining area a little nicer to look at, but other than that I have no complaints. My friends who are much more knowledgable about Indian food (one of them is Indian) love this place.
Calcutta would be Jealous – Good, cheap Indian food. Yes the decor and lighting say "free clinic", but the service, thali dinners, lassis and Taj Mahal say "worth every minute." This is the first time I've gone out for Indian since moving to the cities, my apprehension at doing so stemming from tales of underspiced tandoris and overcooked fish vindaloo. But Jewel ended up having a great mix of spicy food and great service. The yellow and green curries were both top notch, and when i asked for my vegetarian thali "medium-hot"... read more
