My whole family loves this restaurant. When we lived in Buffalo we went to a place called Star of India, sometimes twice a week. We moved away a while back and heard that one of the chefs from SOI had opened a new restaurant and couldn't have been happier. The food is amazing, the service is great, and the family who runs the place is friendly and welcoming. Terrible staff and the good wasnt good at all.the rice was greasy like they fried it in butter.nobody came to give me water.the naan was cold and like rubber.no good.oh...and they had watermelon that was mushy.smh.just terrible.the India Gate has the best
I eat a lot of Indian food and I'm sorry but this was not all that good. I'd rather not say what was wrong just not order here anymore three people agreed after spending close to $75 for take out would've thought it be good but I guess wrong.
This restaurant is my Friday night ritual. Their food is fresh and delicious. Eat in or take out - it's an amazing experience!
My husband & I happened upon this place 2 years ago....and cannot count the times we've been back. The food is delicious, everything we've ordered has been delicious! We bring visiting friends & family here...we highly recommend them. I didn't even mention the excellent customer service!!!! You will be treated well & leave filled with delicious food & left overs...

I eat an awful lot of Indian food. From my first tandoori chicken years ago to today, I actually crave the tang of the spices as mopped up by a piece of garlic naan. My husband and I used to be regulars at a little restaurant in Kenmore where the chef was unbelievably talented. But, as happens sometimes, the restaurant was sold and the chef disappeared.
