Impossible to get a hold of their office to get an appointment. Called multiple times, each time I was on hold for 5+ minutes and someone would answer and then hang up. Someone finally answered the 4th time I called, asked to place me on hold and actually came back to answer the phone. We spoke for a few minutes and she went to confirm if they would accept my insurance, after being left on hold for 15 minutes I hung up and called another office that answered right away.
I've been Dr. Riley's patient for the last year, both for skin exams and a cancer diagnosis. She was thorough, attentive and compassionate. She listened and was easy to talk to. The office has been stellar - friendly and efficient, and prescription requests were easy when I needed to change pharmacies. I'm a nurse, new to the area, and had been dreading finding a new dermatologist that met my criteria, but Dr. Riley and her staff have won me over.
No one ever answers telephone in this place on Hidden Valley Road. Probably won't be going back.
I had a body check and told Dr. Riley I had a mole that seemed to get larger and then a mark on my left cheek that did bleed so she biopsied them both. She told me what to expect before she placed the needle into my face which I appreciated. I did mention I am on a blood thinner. Well, I did have to come back for Dr. Riley to cauterize the biopsies because after one hour the blood was dripping from the bandages as I was running some errands.
