I was seen by all doctors at the Cedars Sinai Fertility Clinic including the fellows/interns, something I was never completely comfortable with. The main doctors; Dr. Pisarska, Dr. Wang and Dr. Chan were all very nice. This is not your typical fertility clinic, you don’t work with the same doctor or staff member during each visit and I was never comfortable enough to go through an IVF procedure because of this. Her office canceled my appointment 2 times at the last minute and were not accommodating in offering another date. When I finally got to see her she spent 4 minutes with me and prescribed immediately without even listening. The meditation she prescribed was not right for me and her office doesn’t return calls to find an alternative.
Me and my husband had agreed on one thing after working with Dr.Chan “It can’t get better than this!” Dr.Chan was very nice and comforting, as well as being a professional. She make it our process so easy and the results speaks for themselves: 28 frozen eggs in round 1 for me, a 34 year old. I had to go to the clinic every other day which I don’t know if other doctors make you come that often, but it seemed like they were on top of things in the clinic and wanted to check my hormones every other day to adjust the medication.... read more
I can not speak highly enough of her. I have suffered from PCOS for over 6 years and we had trouble TTC on our own for over a year. We started visiting Dr Chan. While I wish I could have kept seeing her, our insurance changed and she does not accept our new insurance (not her fault!). While we didnt get pregnant during our time with her, she got my cycle back after 5 years of not having one! We drove, almost every week for over 3 months, from Orange County to her.
