High accolades to Kristin, Yvette & Anna; even more so Dr. Stem — wow! Professional; very personable & friendly. Everyone listened, inquired with genuine concern, informative. I never felt rushed, ample time given as if they truly cared. Dr. Stem is outstanding! Still amazed at service provided. A HUGE thanks Dr. Stem for your compassionate care.

Dr. Stem provided quality care in a compassionate way. He explained options thoroughly and the followups were both in person and telehealth. I agree that the appointments were not rushed and Dr. Stem listened as well as asked clarifying questions of my understanding of the procedure.

I saw Dr. Stem for low back pain and he uncovered something no one but him had seen, that my neck vertebrae were a mess. He was quick to get me into an operating room. He did my neck and my low back fusion and I am living a good life. My results have been excellent.

I have been dealing with pain in my pecs, under arms, and back including my hamstrings and tibialis for now a year, pain that has been debilitating, I have visited at least 3 Orthopedics Surgeons and 1 Neurological surgeon, and even though, I have no complaint about them and I believe they did the best they could. I must emphasize the blessing of getting to see and meet Dr. Stem. He was the only doctor from all of the previous ones I mentioned who took the time to see ALL my M.R.I.s, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar, he took h... read more

Remarkable. Nearly 2 years ago now I had lower back spinal work done by Jesse in early 2021 through Carillion. Although I wasn't highly impressed with the Carillion staff, Jesse was knowledgeable, sincere, caring and empathetic. Highly recommended.

I've had a couple visits with Dr stem. He seemed helpful at first, but my condition has worsened alot since I saw him last. He claims he can't tell, even though I provided evidence. I have muscle deterioration widespread over my body, some sort of unknown condition or disease. He sent me to another Dr that wasn't interested in listening to me as well as they wanted to base their information off of a old mri from 10 months ago. Stem is willfully ignorant at times, I went for a follow up and could tell he wasn't thrilled bout ... read more

He is very smart! He's patient when it comes to the problems unknown he figures them out like a puzzle. He is very professional and respectable. I really enjoy him being my Dr. I would recommend him to everyone. I have had 2 surgeries done by him & he did wonderful & although my pain and problem still exists he is looking at every angle to find out what it is and I have no doubt that when he does he will fix me! Thank you, your pleased patient Mrs knights

He decided as soon as he saw my Xrays that he'd be doing yet another Lumbar Spinal Fusion surgery, even though I'd made very clear that I would NOT have another and instead wanted Radio Frequency Ablation to relieve pain. The last fusion had partially disabled me and a 3rd would end my active life entirely, make Activities of Daily Living extremely difficult, and render me homebound. I called a Pain Management doctor immediately after getting the MRI and am preparing for RFA with him.

After consulting with other doctors who wanted to put me into rehabilitation for my terrible arms pain, I went to Dr. Stem who, after looking at the MRI, knew immediately what was the problem. He did a great surgery, fusing 5 vertebrae. (C-2 to C-7). No more pain, no visible scar. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome.
