My 10 year old daughter and I showed up for the walk in clinic today suspecting strep. I asked if it was likely we’d be tested for COVID along with strep as I’ve heard that’s often been the case lately when going in for an appointment. The receptionist ROLLED HER EYES at me and said “well, now I have to complete a COVID check list for you” and proceeded to get out the check list and go through potential symptoms. called to get approval early this morning only to be told that it's walk in only, call when you get here. Done...over an hour ago, still sitting here, many other people have come and gone, I called and was asked who I have appt with, I told them we couldn't get appt but checked in & still waiting, was told other providers are here seeing patients and we'll call you as soon as we get a room available....ARE YOU FLIPPIN SERIOUS????? RecommendedI went to the walk in on Thursday for treatment for a migraine that started on Wednesday. I was seen promptly and received exceptional care. Everyone went above and beyond for me and I greatly appreciate their kindness and professionalism.

My wife had a visit with Dr Usury. After being clients of Jessamine Medical for over 30 years, we will be contacting Central Baptist on Monday, to see what kind of issues will arise from changing providers. I found him to be arrogant, and he did not even examine my wife, but told her that her current doctor was treating her badly and she didn't have any idea what she (my wife) was doing. I will be making a formal complaint with Lexington Clinic. My advice, don't use this so called doctor.
I just received my bill for a visit last month, there was a $ 30.00 additional charge for my Saturday visit. REALLY like the $ 143.00 just to see a nurse not a doctor wasn't enough. They have signs posted promoting their weekend hours but no where do they mention the extra charges you will incur.
No communication whatsoever. Did not get properly diagnosed or medicated for a kidney infection. Now I’m having to pay a $714 emergency room bill because I could not get properly treated at Jessamine Medical. I even tried to come back in and they told me no. I called and spoke to one of the managers, Mindy and SHE HUNG UP ON ME! I waited more than 1 1/2 hours (49 minutes as next to be seen) while watching atleast 10 people who arrived after me be seen and leave. When I had to reschedule there was no apology. Just a so what attitude. When I said I was out of my prescription I found out that was my problem not theirs. Why can this industry treat people like this and all other service industries be judged on customer service. I've been a patient here for many years but that doesn't seem to matter.
They take great care of me & my family, and are like family♥
