Dr. Rokicki performed a ten or eleven complex spinal reconstruction on me a couple years ago. I suffered severe and chronic nerve pain in my right leg. Obviously, my spine needed several issues corrected. Yes, it was a big surgery and consequently took at least nine months for healing. I suffered no permanent injuries. Having an injury to your cervical spine is scary, and while I was in the hospital, I didn't get a lot of information about my prognosis from the medical team. I saw Dr. Rokicki for a 6-week follow-up. He wasn't part of the hospital team that treated me, but he did a great job answering my questions and helping me understand my injury. I feel a lot better now about my future, and I really appreciate Dr. Rokicki's approach to our consultation.

Dr. Rokicki is an amazing surgeon. He was wonderful and detailed in helping me understand what was happening with my cervical and thoracic vertebrae and explained the surgical procedure he would be performing. My surgery was a 7 level laminectomy with fusion from C3 to T2 on May 9, 2022. He was very honest in explaining the amount of pain I would be in and what to expect going forward from surgery. I was hospitalized for an anterior and posterior lumbar fusion done by Dr. Rokicki on Feb 3 and 4 . The posterior portion of surgery had to be postponed due to my lab work . The 4th of Feb was a Friday and there was no open OR time until the following Wed . Dr. Rokicki changed his schedule in order to get the second part of my surgery scheduled on Monday .
