When I got home and opened the order, one of the two subs was also wrong: it was supposed to be Mike's Way on the side (no toppings mixed in, provided separately), and it came without Mike's Way at all — not even included on the side. Someone executed "hold the toppings" but skipped "add it on the side," which is the whole point of the request. Ordered a $30 meal — two subs, one requested Mike's Way on the side (no toppings mixed in, provided separately). The sub came back with Mike's Way left off completely, not included at all. Someone executed "hold the toppings" but skipped "add it on the side," which defeats the purpose of ordering it that way. This was a surprisingly filling sandwich. The meat and cheese had plenty of flavor, and the fresh toppings added a nice crunch and kept the sandwich from feeling too heavy. The bread was soft and fresh, and nothing fell apart while eating it. The chips were a perfect side, and the drink was nice and cold. Overall, really happy with the meal.
Went in for my usual lunch today. I come to this Jersey Mike’s a few times a week, so I’m in there pretty often. The same guy working recognized me from yesterday and welcomed me back when I went to order. It’s honestly such a small thing, but you don’t really get that kind of treatment at fast food places anymore. Kudos to a great staff and always making my sandwich well.
I’m posting this because I was extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. During a visit to this location, a manager named Trey allegedly shared information directing a customer to his X page containing explicit adult photos and videos while he was working.I understand that employees have personal lives and can do whatever they choose outside of work.
