UPDATE FROM 2025: this building was bought by Veris and things are getting way worse. The building itself is nice but the new management is not great. I wouldn’t move here but now we are forced to live here since we signed our lease before the takeover occurred. This has become a very shady apartment after new management took over last year. A lot of the existing residents decided to move out even though the building was offering 1-month of free rent in the middle of summer when other buildings were raising their rents. ***renters beware***
Edited: Downgrading to two stars because I’m concerned Google may automatically remove one-star reviews. I’ve lived at Urby for three years and unfortunately renewed for a fourth—when the building was sold to Veris right after. Since Veris took over, the quality of living has declined sharply. The elevator was down for more than a week (Urby would fix it within a day), the door lock app fails at least once a month (never happened under Urby), there’s been no cold water and even black water from the faucet, and the package ro... read more
Avoid Sable Apartments if you value your money. I moved out over 45 days ago and Sable has still not returned my security deposit, despite New Jersey law requiring landlords to return deposits within 30 days. I followed up multiple times by email and even sent a legal notice. Before I sent legal notice, they replied instantly to all communications. Now, they completely ignore me.
