My boyfriend, (now husband) and I took this trip 31 years ago as our first "big date". We went yesterday to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary, which is today! Jon was our captain on the Chinook, and it was the best trip we've ever taken on the boats! (this was our 6th time on Jerry's Jet Boats). Like Disneyland without a safety net. Or crowds. Just a great tour of a wild watershed. If you go, don't go cheap. Take the 102 mile trip. Worth every penny. The best stretch of river is the last 10 miles.
It was a blast!! My second time on the long trip. Captain John gave a great ride!
From the baby osprey practicing, to all the bald eagles in the sky, harbor seals and otters in the river, this is an amazing trip just for the nature! Add to that the jet boats, from the spins and the spray of the river this trip is 100% worth it!
The trip was great, the meal at Singing Springs was far less than mediocore, unfortunately.....
What a blast! Highly recommend this adventure. Already planning our next trip.
