My husband had been wanting to go for a while. I surprised him with the same two days off he had at work. We opted for the 80 mile trip on the boat. It was amazing, refreshing, thrilling and we had a great guide, Jessie! The added bonus was stopping at Singing Springs restaurant for the best buffet we have ever had (smoked Pork, Turkey...)! We have been two years in a year, and both trips were great. Lots of beauty, animals, laughs, new friends. Pilots/captains are great knowledgeable and friendly. It has quickly become a yearly activity for us. We both years did the 80 mile dinner ride. Just an all around great time. Plan to get wet and take a jacket.
My family and I enjoyed the 80 mile trip with captain John C. and his dog Brandy. My son 9 and daughter 6 loved the jet boat so much they declared "its better than Disneyland". Lunch was delicious at Cougar Lane. We enjoyed learning about the area from John and his sense of humor was very entertaining. He stopped to let us see otters, bald eagles, ospreys, turtles, seals, 2 juvenile bald eagles, and a great blue heron. We loved the fun spins of the boat and cannot wait to come back and ride the boat again next summer.
Had an AWESOME experience on the 104 mile run! Darin was the captain with his dog as the co captain. Not one person was dry by the end. I'll do it again for sure!
Rode with Kevin, who is Jerrys grandson. Kevin as a kid use to ride up and down the river with him and shared the fond memories. It also taught him the river which was obvious by his boat handling throughout the day. We had a great time and will do it again next time we are in the area.
My first experience on the Rogue River was many years ago when the mail boats were still in business. My experience this past week with Jerry's was no where near comparable. Our skipper Kevin, was so incredibly fun & hilarious, lunch at Cougar Lane was exceptionally good too. I highly recommend anyone & everyone experience the Rogue River with Jerry's, at least once. Thank you Jerry's Rogue Jets and Kevin, for creating such an amazing memory & experience!
