How does a pain doctor run out of schedule II perscriptions. Dr. Lewis' office was turning away everyone today because "There is a backlog of schedule II script pads for 8 weeks"... really... Your a doctor for gods sake and we come to you for help.
Business response:
The Texas State Board of Pharmacy is currently taking greater than 8 weeks to process C2 orders for providers. They have added additional security measures to their systems, which they did not inform the providers prior to doing so. The office has NOT turned one patient away! We offered the patients an alternative medication to take. The office is doing the best we can do until we receive the Schedule II script pads, which is out of our hands, and the TSBP will not give us a deliver date.
Truly a Pain Dr that gives great care and cares about his patients!! His staff is great and more like family!! It’s very hard for me to trust drs but I wholeheartedly trust him and his awesome nurses and nurse practitioners!! Thank you for your service and helping people when they feel as there is no longer any help for them! Greatly appreciated!
After weeks of intense neck pain and mostly mismanaged care with ER visit and a TBI doctor's staff, I asked my daughter-in-law for guidance. Without hesitation, she gave me Dr. Lewis' name, as she had been a recovery nurse for his surgical patients. I will be forever grateful to Jeanette in Dr. Lewis' office who answered the phone. As the result of her professional and compassionate concern and Dr. Lewis' skill, I was pain-free within days of initial contact. Definitely recommend Dr. Lewis!
It’s been over 2 years since my 3 injections for my nerve pain in my neck. First injection, still had pain, second injection, much less pain but still had pain. Third injection, pain was gone and has not reoccurred in over 2 years. Staff is excellent, prep doctors and nurses were excellent and friendly. The three procedures went without any problem. My experience with Dr. Lewis and his staff was first rate. Thanks for the pain relief.
Dr Lewis, Tracy (CRNP) and staff have always been caring and professional. They listen and take care of your medical/pain issues. Highly recommend them for pain issues.
Best pain mgt in town. Thank you Dr Lewis
DrLewis and his staff are professional and truly care about their patients. I have been a patient for many years and Dr.Lewis has helped manage my pain and listens to concerns I may have. I highly recommend Dr. Lewis.
He performed a discogram on me using CT scan dye, but I had a Red Wristband his office put on me saying I was allergic to Ct scan dye! I had to go to the emergency room because my throat was swelling shut. Definately do not recommend.
This place extremely shady. The doctor spends less than 5 min with you. Very little compassion.
